STUSSY X YO! MTV RAPS
I, along with Jorge Aguirre, designed a limited capsule collection in collaboration with Yo! MTV Raps, the groundbreaking television series that helped bring hip hop into the global mainstream. The project celebrated the show’s cultural legacy and its influence on streetwear, music, and visual expression.
The collection featured graphic tees, sweatshirts, and accessories that reimagined archival imagery, logos, and typography from Yo! MTV Raps through Stüssy’s design language. My focus was on capturing the energy and attitude of that era while keeping it authentic to Stüssy’s graphic heritage.
Released through Stüssy Chapter stores worldwide, the collaboration served as both a tribute and a bridge—connecting the origins of hip hop style with the modern voice of streetwear culture.
